As a mother of four girls who are and will enter the work world, I will be purposeful in my efforts to engage with other women-owned business.
My Story

My Story

In the spring of 2020, I was ready to get back into making art and working toward starting a business. Then in 2021, during this process, a life-threatening illness struck suddenly. I spent the next three years physically and emotionally exhausted as I worked toward recovery. Through the struggles of recovery, I refused to give up on creating and one day starting a business.

I discovered the world of beading. At first, making jewelry was something that kept me busy. The materials were inspiring, and creating was emotionally soothing. I was learning new skills and experimenting with color, shape, and texture. Soon I started exploring the possibility of launching an online business to share my creations with more people while earning an income. There have been some setbacks and a steep learning curve, but despite those challenges, I've succeeded in launching my online store.

As I've been working on the business, I've determined some core values I wanted to work toward fulfilling. I discovered it is important to create pieces that are meaningful and intentional, to support my community, and to build a sustainable business that allows me to continue creating art that brings joy to others.

I’m excited to see where the business goes from here. As time goes on, I hope to share the continuation of my journey. I am having so much fun diving into the world of jewelry.
